A growing trend in RV Internet pricing, especially by larger RV companies (we all know who they are), is to initially leave off certain costs in order to display low prices in an effort to attract customers in an ever- competitive market. These are costs that must, at some point, be added back to those low prices before paperwork is signed.

All RV companies, regardless of what they might say, pay costs such freight or destination charges, which are simply the costs of getting a unit from where it was built, to the dealer- and these distances can vary (the farther a unit has to go, the more it costs to get it there).

A PDI (pre-delivery inspection) and unit prep, is the cost of the initial inspection and process where systems such as heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, LP gas, slide-outs, appliances, brakes, axles, tires, and much more are checked to insure the systems are working, and more importantly, safe for you and your family.

To be competitive our “Apples to Apples” comparison prices may not include any applicable freight or PDI fees. Other fees not included in the sales price are state sales tax, a title fee, license fees (which vary state to state) and a dealer documentation fee.
